Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful countries in Africa and home to some of the continent’s great wildlife destinations. This is the perfect introduction to the splendours of Zimbabwe including big game viewing and the spectacular Victoria Falls.

Day 1
Arrival in Victoria Falls where you will be met by your local driver for your private transfer to the hotel.
In the afternoon you will be met for a private guided tour of the magnificent Victoria Falls, one of the great natural wonders of the world.
Overnight on a bed and breakfast basis at the Victoria Falls Hotel

Day 2
Full day at leisure in Victoria Falls. The area is often referred to as the adventure capital of Africa thanks to the wealth of amazing activities available. Maybe try microlighting over the falls or perhaps bungee jumping from the Victoria Falls bridge. Perhaps something more relaxing like village or market tours or even a wonderful helicopter trip.
In the late afternoon you will be collected for your transfer to the banks of the Zambezi River for a sundowner cruise aboard the luxury Zambezi Explorer – with drinks and snacks included.
Return to the hotel after the cruise.

Day 3
After breakfast you will be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your light aircraft flight across Zimbabwe to the beautiful Mana Pools National Park on the southern banks of the Zambezi River. This World Heritage site is an incredible wildlife refuge.
Settle into your camp with views out onto the Zambezi River.
In the afternoon head out for your first safari in open vehicles in search of Africa’s famous wildlife. Returning to the camp for dinner.

Days 4 & 5
Two full days on safari at Nyamatusi Camp. Activities are in open 4×4 safari vehicles with experienced guides and take place at dawn and dusk, when the game is at its most active. The camp also offers walking safaris, and, one of the most exciting options available, canoe safaris on the Zambezi River for a thrilling and different view of the wilderness!

Day 6
After breakfast you will transfer to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe’s most famous national park.
Transfer to the camp and settle in, before your afternoon safari. Returning to camp for dinner.
Overnight on a fully inclusive basis at Somalisa Camp

Days 7 & 8
Two full days on safari at Somalisa, in the heart of Hwange. Activities at Somalisa include day and night drives in open safari vehicles as well as walking safaris under the guidance of your experienced ranger. The park is famous for its large herds of elephants, but is host to much much more.

Day 9
After a final dawn safari and breakfast it is time to transfer to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Victoria Falls on onwards connections.
