Day 1
Arrival in Nairobi where you will be met by your local driver for your private transfer to your hotel in Kenya’s vibrant capital.
Rest of the day to relax and settle into your new surroundings, with an optional city tour available (at a supplement) if your flight timing permits.
Overnight on a bed and breakfast basis at Hemingway’s Hotel, Nairobi
Day 2
After an early breakfast transfer to Wilson Airport for your short light aircraft flight to Amboseli, where you will be met by your guide and transferred to your camp.
Lunch at the camp followed by your first safari in the Amboseli National Park, returning to the camp at sunset for dinner.
Overnight on a fully inclusive basis at Tortilis Camp
Day 3
Enjoy a full day in Amboseli, with twice daily safaris in open 4×4 safari vehicles. The flat plains of Amboseli are home to a wide variety of game, however, the reserve is possibly best known for the iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Further, your camp is in one of the most secluded areas of the park, meaning you often feel like you have the reserve to yourself!

Day 4
After an early breakfast transfer back to the Amboseli airstrip for your light aircraft flight north to Meru, via Nairobi Wilson. On arrival in Meru you will be met for your transfer to Elsa’s Kopje, one of Kenya’s most renowned lodges. The site sits above where George Adamson’s original camp, where he raised and released orphaned lions.
Afternoon safari in the Meru National Park before returning to the lodge for dinner.

Day 5
Full day at Elsa’s Kopje. Although famous for its lions and elephants, Meru National Park is recognised as having more diversity of animal species than any other park in East Africa. Game drives are in open 4×4 vehicles with highly trained rangers, in almost total seclusion. As Elsa’s Kopje has the whole National Park almost exclusively, it offers pre-dinner game drives with red-light spotlights to get a glimpse of what happens after dark!

Day 6
After breakfast it is time to transfer to the airstrip for your flight to the Masai Mara (via Nanyuki). On arrival you will be met by your guide for the transfer to the camp, strung out along the banks of the Sand River.
Lunch will be served at the lodge followed by your first afternoon safari in the Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most famous wildlife destination. Return to the camp at sunset for dinner.

Day 7
Full day at Sand River with twice daily safaris in safari vehicles under the guidance of experienced guides. The Masai Mara is known the world over for its prolific wildlife, especially the abundance of large cats. However, from August to November there is the added bonus of potentially witnessing the great wildebeest migration as it crosses into Kenya from Tanzania and back again.

Day 8
After a leisurely breakfast you will transfer to the Keekorok Airstrip for your flight to Nairobi Wilson. Here you will be met and transferred to a restaurant for lunch before you are taken to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your return flight home.
